It helps to attach diagnostics: in the iPhone app open Settings, tap the version seven times, then Export diagnostics and send the file. It contains timings and device state, never your screen, typing or clipboard.

Quick fixes

• The iPhone can't find the Mac: both on the same Wi-Fi; Floatdesk open on the Mac; iPhone Settings → Floatdesk → Local Network on.
• Clicks or typing don't reach the Mac: Mac System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility → Floatdesk on.
• Black monitor: Mac System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording → Floatdesk on, then reconnect.
• The phone gets warm: long Cinema sessions run cooler unplugged; Floatdesk lowers resolution by itself when it gets hot.
• Subscriptions and refunds: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions; refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Try it without a Mac

Open the iPhone app and tap Try a demo on the home screen.
